The transformation of Australia’s defence innovation ecosystem is critical in delivering the advanced technologies that Australia requires for our national security. ASCA connects and streamlines the defence innovation system by focusing on defined missions, solving the most relevant and urgent capability problems, and taking a more flexible and agile approach to procurement. This accelerates the transition of innovation into capability solutions that are acquired by Defence for the ADF, with the urgency required by our strategic circumstances.
Opportunities for Australian industry and universities to partner with Defence are provided under ASCA’s model, to explore emerging and disruptive technologies, and discover and nurture new innovations that address priority capability needs.
